About

I’m a contemporary artist based in Tatura, Victoria, and a husband and father with a lifelong passion for painting and drawing. I’ve always had a strong love for art history, particularly the Dutch Golden Age, which has had a major influence on the way I approach painting. I’m fascinated by the skill, detail, light and atmosphere found in the work of that period. More recently, I’ve found myself increasingly drawn towards Impressionism and more abstract ways of working. Exploring colour, light, movement and expression has opened a new direction in my work and has become an inspiration behind the style of my latest collection.
